Today’s Boston is more than Revolutionary War sites. It’s revolutionary, period. Our never-ending innovations in healthcare, technology, education, life sciences, and other industries draw high-quality convention crowds, year after year.
THE GOLD STANDARD FOR STATE-OF-THE-ART MEETINGS
Only Boston has two AIPC GOLD Certified convention centers, the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC), and the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center (Hynes). Like the city itself, our facilities are all about breakthrough ideas, setting the industry standard for convention services. Which is why Boston events continually make history with record-breaking crowds.
AMERICA’S MOST ACCESSIBLE MODERN CONVENTION CITY
Boston draws guests from across the U.S. and around the world, offering more qualified attendees within a two-hour travel radius than any other convention destination in North America. Guests can easily drive, take a train, or fly non-stop into Boston Logan International Airport from over 100 worldwide cities.
HOSTING RECORD-BREAKING CROWDS SINCE THE 1600s
We were born hosting Revolutionary meetings and we’re still the best choice for unforgettable events. Minutes from our doors, guests will find new hotels, award-winning restaurants, vibrant shopping, and unique offsite venues. Plus, countless other attractions that combine the best of yesterday and today across a compact, world-class city.

Testimonials
"The building was in fantastic shape. I don’t know that I’ve been in a cleaner building! Staff was visibly happy to be back, and they were thankful to have us there. I could see smiling eyes with every interaction. Our staff commented on how appreciative everyone was. It was great to be back doing what we love – running in-person events. Our attendees also noted that being back in person restored a sense of normalcy in their day-to-day lives that had been missing for 26 months (HRS 2019 was held in May 2019)."

"Back in 2013 Dave Peixoto, Commissioner of USAV New England Region, Tom Berkman, President of THS, and myself, met on a site visit in Boston to explore the possibility of starting a small volleyball tournament at the BCEC. We came up with about 10 hoops, some very significant, to jump through in order for the event to happen. The BCEC staff one by one overcame every possible obstacle to make the Boston Volleyball Festival a reality. Their attention to detail, willingness to ‘find a way’ to get it done, and quick response to our needs have helped us grow the event from 200 to well over 1000 teams in less than 10 years! That includes running the last citywide event before COVID shut everything down and the first back barely a year later. From our first site visit each year to the last crate going on a trailer at the end of the event, the BCEC staff works to enhance the experience for everyone involved every step of way!"
