CEMA Summit Social Media Policy

The Corporate Event Marketing Association (CEMA) actively encourages the use of social media to share your experience before, during, and after #CEMASummit or #CS25. We love seeing your excitement, insights, and behind-the-scenes moments!

To ensure a respectful and positive experience for all, please review and follow the guidelines below:

What’s Encouraged

  • Share your CEMA Summit takeaways, photos, and moments of inspiration.
  • Use the official hashtags #CEMASummit and #CS25 so others can follow the conversation.
  • Tag us on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter).
  • Respectfully engage with fellow participants, presenters, and partners.
  • If presenters welcome sharing, feel free to quote them—just be sure to tag or credit them properly.

What’s Not Allowed

  • Do not post content that is derogatory, demeaning, offensive, inflammatory, or discriminatory.
Avoid rudeness, personal attacks, or any form of harassment or intimidation.
  • Refrain from recording sessions (including videos or screenshots of slides) unless explicit permission is granted by the speaker or CEMA staff.
  • Do not share any content that is copyrighted or proprietary without permission.
  • While we encourage CEMA Summit participants to engage, network, and exchange ideas that move our industry forward, we want to remind all participants that selling or soliciting products, services, or business opportunities is strictly prohibited at this event. Let’s keep the focus on meaningful connections and shared learning.

Speaker + Content Etiquette

  • Presenters are encouraged to include their social handles and preferred hashtags on slides if they welcome online sharing.
  • Always ask for permission before posting about or tagging presenters and fellow participants.
  • Credit all sources accurately when sharing insights, quotes, or visuals from sessions.

Our Commitment

CEMA is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment both online and in-person. All participants are expected to abide by CEMA’s Guidelines for Professional Behavior at all times.

CEMA reserves the right to remove any comments that violate these guidelines.

Final Thought: Let’s Have Fun!

We can’t wait to see your creativity, conference adventures, and genuine takeaways. Your posts help build community and continue the conversation long after the event ends.

Thank you for helping us create a positive and welcoming experience for all. See you online and at #CEMASummit!
