COVID-19 Educational Webinars

“This is the time for facts, not fear, for science, not rumors, for solidarity, not stigma.”

The safety and well-being of every participant is essential to event success and is a top priority for event marketers. Further, in risk scenarios such as COVID-19, we realize that our industry must always act in the best interests of the general public.

We embrace the observation of WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus: “This is the time for facts, not fear, for science, not rumors, for solidarity, not stigma.” In that spirit, we are working with our partners PCMA and the Events Industry Council (EIC), as well as other peer organizations, to ensure coherent information flow across the event marketing industry.

In that spirit, CEMA is proud to partner with PCMA to bring timely and actionable insights on COVID-19 to the event marketing community. These complimentary PCMA webinars cover a range of useful topics from scientific fact, to risk management and contractual preparedness, to response, communications and recovery during and after a major disruption. We will continue to explore new topics with PCMA as COVID-19 evolves and look to collaborate with them on helping our EM colleagues remain resilient during this crisis.
