Roseville, Calif., June 10, 2020. The Corporate Event Marketing Association (CEMA) announced today that the association’s signature event, CEMA Summit 2020 has been transformed into a digital experience event that will be held online from July 27-28, 2020. For the first time in the event’s 30-year history, CEMA Summit 2020 will also be open to non-members.
This year’s Summit will feature a special Nashville experience showcase and visionary speakers, including New York Times Bestselling author Jon Acuff, entrepreneur, motivational speaker and former sports agent Molly Fletcher, and life coach, author, motivational speaker, and founder of the Coaching and Positive Psychology Institute, Valorie Burton. The event will also host sponsor connections, roundtables, expert panels, and personal development sessions.
“We’ve learned a lot in the past months from our amazing members about how to pivot events successfully by leveraging real world experiences that can carry over into the digital world and creating exciting new virtual ones,” said Kimberley Gishler, CEMA CEO and President. “CEMA has always been about connections and networking, and we’re hyper-focused on delivering those opportunities virtually to a broader event marketer community with amazing content, professional development and meaningful opportunities to connect with peers, sponsors and industry partners.”
In addition, to networking, education, and collaboration, CEMA Summit is renowned for being a place where event professionals come together to celebrate the industry and each other. “To mark our 30th-year celebration, we’ll be dialing up the fun, CEMA style, including activities to keep our members in the Summit groove, like yoga, a 5k walk and trivia contests, along with a class in mixology and a very special Nashville singer-songwriter experience,” Gishler said.
