CEMA Newsletter March 2018

Kimberly Gishler

President and CEO, CEMA

Kimberly Gishler

While those of you on the East Coast have been braving winter storms now for months, we’re just now wrapping up some big storms ourselves — and can’t wait for those long sunny days of summer! We’re busy revving up the CEMA Summit 2018 event machine back here in California– and thrilled to do it — because we know we will soon see all of you again to experience a series of inspirational presentations, learn a tremendous amount about the latest event marketing techniques and technologies and celebrate with the best this industry has to offer.

We’re incredibly excited about the opportunity to host our event this year at Terreana, L.A’s Oceanfront Resort. It is truly a special place, and from July 22-24th, it will be filled with very special people. They call it a private paradise, and once you step onto the grounds, you’ll know you’ve arrived in a place like no other.

Registration for CEMA Summit 2018 has just gone live. We can’t wait too see you all there. Click here to register >>

In Memory of Susan Littleton, Past CEMA Board Member

Susan LittletonThis past Sunday we lost an amazing woman to pancreatic cancer.  Susan Littleton was a long time CEMA Member and Past Board Member.   I had the pleasure of knowing Susan for many years.  She was a lady of grace, amazing energy and a no “bulls@!t” attitude.  Susan was one of the most supportive women I ever met and it showed by her constant encouragement to those coming into the industry.  She loved this community and supported it to its fullest.  Susan could say so many things by just the look she gave you or the roll of her eyes which I found endearing during Board Meetings.  CEMA is a better Association because of her guidance and support.  She will be missed but never forgotten.
