A Roundtable Discussion on “The New Normal in Event Security”

The Corporate Event Marketing Association (CEMA) enjoyed an  interactive roundtable industry discussion on the topic of the new normal in event security. Given today’s real threat of violence and terrorism how do you balance safety and the customer experience with effective unobtrusive security management? With threats to event venues both domestic and international, it is more important than ever to plan and be prepared and provide the safest event possible. Our Lunch & Learn will offer a diverse array of presenters, perspectives and professional experience, giving attendees a chance to network and discuss current trends and issues within event security. Come to exchange key ideas and best practices, network, and learn from your peers and multiply your strategies to proactively anticipate and stay ahead of the rapidly changing threat landscape.  Attendees received 3 hours towards their CMP.

Lunch was hosted before the presentation by Hilton Worldwide, World Stage, Hilton Hotels of San Diego, The Beverly Hilton, Hilton Santa Clara, Hilton Anaheim and the Doubletree by Hilton San Jose
